150 × 150 mm R6 Copper Mould Tube
The 150 × 150 mm copper mould tube is manufactured for billet continuous casting machines requiring a square 150 mm mould section. The R6 configuration provides a 6000 mm radius corresponding to the caster geometry.
The overall tube dimensions, internal profile and taper are produced according to the customer's mould design and technical drawing. The tube can be manufactured from Cu-DHP, CuAg or CuCrZr copper, with a 0.08–0.12 mm hard chrome plated inner surface according to the required specification.

Cu-DHP Copper
Cu-DHP is available for standard continuous casting applications where good thermal conductivity and reliable mould performance are required.
CuAg Copper
CuAg is selected for applications requiring improved thermal stability and resistance to softening at elevated operating temperatures.
CuCrZr Copper
CuCrZr provides higher mechanical strength at elevated temperatures and suits demanding continuous casting conditions.
Hard Chrome Plated R6 Copper Mould Tube
The working surface of the mould tube is finished with hard chrome plating of 0.08–0.12 mm. The chrome-plated surface improves the wear resistance of the internal working surface and provides a durable surface for continuous casting operation.
The final plating specification can be adjusted according to the customer's technical requirements.
