Our business supports staal knuppel, blooms and continugieten operations with op maat gietvorm components manufactured according to op maater drawings, gietmachine dimensions and operating requirements. Engineering and production cover the complete gietvorm section, from the copper gietvorm buis and koeling watermantel to the dummy bar system and related mechanical components.
For op maaters who already have drawings, samples or an existing worn component, we provide OEM replacement and op maat manufacturing based on the original dimensions and technical requirements.
The copper gietvorm buis is the key heat-transfer component of a continugieten machine, working with the watermantel to extract heat from the newly solidifying strand. We supply it in Cu-DHP, CuAg and CuCrZr, with the conus and coating configuration the gietmachine requires.

Phosphorus-deoxidized copper for conventional continugieten.

Silver-bearing copper where higher thermal stability and resistance to high-temperature softening are required.

Chromium-zirconium copper for higher mechanical strength and thermal stability.

R4, R5, R6 and R9 koperen gietvormbuiss
We manufacture for different casting radii: R4 / 4000 mm, R5 / 5000 mm, R6 / 6000 mm, R9 / 9000 mm and op maat radii to drawing. Typisch knuppel sections: 100 × 100, 120 × 120, 130 × 130, 150 × 150, 160 × 160 mm, rectangular, round and other op maat sections.
Radius, section and internal geometry must correspond to the continugieten machine design rather than being selected independently. This site therefore provides separate product pages by casting radius and by exact specification, such as 100 × 100 × 900 R6 and 130 × 130 × 900 R6.

Koperen gietvormbuis Repair and Re-Bekleding
A worn buis does not automatically have to be replaced. Depending on its condition, a used copper gietvorm buis is evaluated for internal surface wear, conus condition, wanddikte, deformation, cracks, chrome coating condition and machining allowance. Engineering and Technical Support
When reviewing a copper gietvorm buis inquiry, we do not look only at the outside dimensions. The technical review covers casting section, casting radius, buis lengte, wanddikte, internal conus, copper grade, plating, koeling arrangement, installation dimensions and the existing gietvorm design, so the supplied component corresponds to the op maater's actual equipment. Kwaliteit Is Defined by the Tekening
For continugieten spare parts, "standard product" does not always mean "correct product". A buis with the same nominal section can still differ in radius, lengte, wanddikte, conus, internal geometry, coating and connection dimensions. Our approach: confirm the drawing and operating requirements first, then manufacture. This matters most for OEM replacement and maintenance projects.
