R6 100 × 100 × 900 mm Koperen gietvormbuis
The R6 100 × 100 × 900 mm copper gietvorm buis is designed for continugieten van knuppels in staal plants. With a 100 × 100 mm square section, 900 mm lengte and R6000 mm casting radius, this copper gietvorm buis provides efficient heat transfer and reliable dimensional stability during casting.
The buis is manufactured according to the op maater's gietmachine requirements and can be supplied with different copper grades, internal conus designs and surface coatings. Copper gietvorm buizen are a critical component of the continugieten gietvorm, where rapid heat transfer forms a stable solid shell around the molten staal.
This size suits square knuppel gietmachines on curved (R6000 mm) machines. The 100 × 100 mm internal section forms the required knuppel, and the 900 mm buis lengte provides the gietvorm working lengte. We manufacture to your existing gietvorm drawing, gietmachine model and operating parameters.

Cu-DHP Copper
Cu-DHP is widely used for knuppel copper gietvorm buizen because it combines good thermal conductivity, suitable mechanical strength and good manufacturing performance. It is the common choice for conventional knuppel casting.
CuAg Copper
CuAg0.1 provides higher resistance to thermal softening than standard DHP copper. Consider it for higher casting temperatures, higher casting speeds or more demanding operating conditions.
CuCrZr Copper
CuCrZr provides significantly higher high-temperature strength and resistance to deformation. It suits demanding applications where thermal stability and gietvorm service life matter most.
Hard Chrome Plated Inner Oppervlak
The inner working surface is supplied with hard chromium plating to improve wear resistance and protect the copper during casting.

Internal Conus Design
