The R6 130 × 130 × 900 mm copper gietvorm buis is designed for continugieten van knuppels applications. With a 6000 mm gietvorm radius, 130 × 130 mm square section and 900 mm overall lengte, this copper gietvorm buis is manufactured according to the gietmachine design, staal grade, casting conditions and op maater drawing.
The gietvorm buis is available in Cu-DHP, CuAg and CuCrZr copper grades, with a hard chrome plated inner surface for improved wear resistance.
130 × 130 mm Koperen gietvormbuis for Billet Casting
The 130 × 130 mm gietvorm section suits continugieten van knuppels machines producing a square knuppel format. The copper buis forms the primary koeling and solidification zone around the newly cast staal strand.
The R6 radius configuration is manufactured to match the continugieten machine geometry and withdrawal system. The buis is supplied with the required internal conus, corner design, water-koeling configuration and mounting dimensions according to the op maater's technical drawing.
Copper Grades: Cu-DHP, CuAg and CuCrZr
The copper grade is selected according to casting speed, koeling conditions, staal grade and required service life.
Cu-DHP Koperen gietvormbuis
Cu-DHP is the commonly used copper grade for continugieten gietvorm buizen. It provides good thermal conductivity and suits many standard knuppel casting applications.
CuAg Koperen gietvormbuis
CuAg copper offers improved resistance to softening at elevated temperatures compared with standard Cu-DHP. Consider it where higher thermal stability is required.
CuCrZr Koperen gietvormbuis
CuCrZr provides higher strength and improved high-temperature mechanical properties. It suits continugieten applications where higher thermal and mechanical loads are expected.
Hard Chrome Plated Inner Oppervlak
The internal surface of the 130 × 130 × 900 mm R6 copper gietvorm buis is supplied with 0.08–0.12 mm hard chrome plating. The chrome layer on the working surface improves resistance to wear and surface damage during casting.
Bekleding thickness and surface requirements can be adjusted to the op maater's specification or existing gietvorm buis drawing.
